Crouse Hospital has been providing high-quality interventional and diagnostic heart care services for patients of all ages for decades. We are a nationally certified Chest Pain Center — one of only two in Central New York. In June 2011 we received full Cycle I Heart Failure Accreditation status from the Society of Chest Pain Centers — the first hospital in New York State to achieve this designation and only one of 35 in the United States with the accreditation. Crouse is one of only two hospitals in New York State with dual accreditation.
The quality designations Crouse has earned mean you can be confident that we have the right skills, team, technology and equipment available day and night to stop a heart attack in its tracks. With faster diagnoses and rapid cardiac intervention, our experts can help prevent or even reverse muscle damage to your heart.
In addition, Crouse's renowned pediatric cardiac catheterization program — the only one of its kind in the region and a partnership with Pediatric Cardiology Associates — provides care for the area's smallest patients, while our rapid "door to balloon" time -- among the lowest in New York State -- is saving lives of heart attack patients of all ages.
Our cardiac quality has also been recognized nationally by the American Heart Association's "Get With the Guidelines" Silver Award for performance excellence in 2006 and 2007 and its Gold Award for outstanding performance in 2009. Crouse Hospital is also proud to be accredited by the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL), further demonstrating our strong commitment to quality cardiac care for our community.
What all this means is, quite simply: you can trust your heart to Crouse.
