Crouse Surgical Quality Receives National RecognitionCongratulations to our surgical care and quality improvement teams for achieving ‘exemplary performance’ status from the American College of Surgeons’ National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (‘NSQIP’ for short). Of the more than 300 U.S. hospitals participating in this patient safety/quality project, just 26 have earned exemplary designation.
Special thanks to Dennis Brown, MD, Surgical Quality Medical Director, and Lynne Wolfe, RN, for their leadership and passion on this important quality initiative. It’s great to be identified in the top 10% in a well-respected, evidence-based national initiative. In addition to the great project leadership, our surgeons, along with the surgical services team in the ORs and the staff on the floors who care for our patients, all add to the outstanding outcomes this quality improvement initiative reflects. Thanks to all for helping to meet our mission of providing the best in patient care.
